Cuvier's beaked whale .This animal most widely distributed of all the beaked whales . This animal is the only member of the genus Ziphius . Another common name for the species is goose-beaked whale because its head is said to be shaped like the beak of a goose . Georges Cuvier first described it in 1823 from part of a skull found in France in 1804. He thought it represented an extinct species it wasn't until the 1870s that it was realized the type specimen represented a living species. The Ziphius cavirostris, also known as the Cuvier's beaked whale, is a species of beaked whale found in deep waters around the world. They are known to be elusive and difficult to study due to their deep-diving habits and remote habitats. The Zanzibar Leopard is an Unidentified mysterious animal elusive and possibly extinct subspecies of leopard endemic to Unguja Island in the Zanzibar archipelago, part of Tanzania . Increasing conflict between people and leopards in the 20th century led to their demonization and determined attempts to exterminate them. Efforts to develop a leopard conservation programme in the mid-1990s were shelved when wildlife researchers concluded that there was little prospect for the animal's long-term survival.

The marozi or spotted lion is an Unidentified mysterious animal variously claimed by zoologists and cryptozoologists to be a distinct race of lion adapted for a montane rather than savanna-dwelling existence, a rare natural hybrid of a leopard and lion , or an adult lion that retained its childhood spots. It is believed to have been smaller than a lion but slightly larger in size than a leopard and lacking any distinguishable mane. It has been reported in the wild and the skin of a specimen exists, but it has yet to be confirmed as either a separate species or subspecies, although Reginald Pocock and Belgian cryptozoologist Dr Bernard Heuvelmans both proposed the subspecific name Panthera leo maculatus for it (but this currently lacks any valid nomenclatural status).

Manananggal

The Manananggal were called Penanggalan in Malay folklore is a mythical creature(Unidentified mysterious animal) of the Philippines. It resembles a Western vampire , in being an evil, human-devouring monster or witch . The myth of the manananggal is popular in the Visayan region of the Philippines , especially in the western provinces of Capiz , Iloilo , Antique . There are varying accounts of the features of a manananggal. Like vampires, Visayan folklore creatures, and aswangs , manananggals are also said to abhor garlic and salt.They were also known to avoid daggers, light, vinegar, spices and the tail of a sting ray which can be fashioned as a whip . Folklore of similar creatures can be found in the neighbouring nations of Indonesia and Malaysia .

Maltese tiger

Tigers are native to Asia and there are six subspecies: Bengal tiger, Indochinese tiger, Malayan tiger, Siberian tiger, South China tiger, and Sumatran tiger. The Maltese tiger is not a subspecies of tiger, it is a common name that is used to describe a tiger with a distinctive white coat and black stripes. The White tiger is a genetic variant of the Bengal tiger, it is not a separate subspecies, they are extremely rare. White tigers are caused by a genetic mutation that results in a lack of pigmentation in the fur, and it occurs in about 1 in 10,000 Bengal tigers. White tigers are not found in the wild but they are bred in captivity. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other organizations consider the breeding of white tigers to be unethical because it can lead to inbreeding and other genetic health problems.

Poukai

Pouakai , Poukai , Hokioi , or Hakawai is a Unidentified mysterious animal bird that ate people.According to an account given to Sir George Grey , an early governor of New Zealand,  Poukai were huge black-and-white predators with a red crest and yellow-green tinged wingtips. In some Māori legends, Hokioi kill humans, which could have been possible if the name relates to the Haast's Eagle , given the massive size and strength of the bird which is believed to have hunted Moa weighing up to 300 pounds (140 kg). Such a creature could have very well killed and eaten humans, and it did not become extinct until several hundred years after the arrival of the Māori . A different theory posits that the " Poukai " legends may refer to the New Zealand Snipe – specifically, the extinct South Island subspecies

Popobawa , also Popo Bawa , is the name of an Unidentified mysterious animal, or  shetani , PopoBawa believed by residents to have first appeared on the Tanzanian island of Pemba . In 1995 Popobawa was the focus of a major outbreak of mass hysteria or panic which spread from Pemba to Unguja , the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago, and across to Dar es Salaam and other urban centres on the East African coast.

The Pogeyan is a cryptid grey big cat , a feline ; possible leopard or out-of-place Asian lion , known to local people, allegedly living in the Western Ghats , India . The name " Pogeyan " is derived from the local dialect and means "The cat that comes and goes like the mist"

moa were eleven species (in six genera) of flightless birds endemic to New Zealand . The two largest species, Dinornis robustus and Dinornis novaezelandiae , reached about 3.7 m (12 ft) in height with neck outstretched, and weighed about 230 kg (510 lb). moa are members of the order Struthioniformes (or ratites ) although some sources also recognise these as the separate order Dinornithiformes . The eleven species of moa are the only wingless birds, lacking even the vestigial wings which all other ratites have. They were the dominant herbivores in New Zealand forest, shrubland and subalpine ecosystems for thousands of years, and until the arrival of the Māori were hunted only by the Haast's Eagle . All species are generally believed to have become extinct by 1500 AD, mainly due to hunting by Māori.

The Dingiso ( unidentified mysterious animal) has a distinctive pattern of black and white fur; it has a white belly, and a black head, back and limbs. Unlike other tree kangaroos, it spends little time in the trees. The species epithet, mbaiso , means "the forbidden animal" in Moni. It remains common in the west because of the protection conferred on it by the Moni people. For many Moni, it is an ancestor which must never be harmed. The Dingiso was only described and named as recently as 1995 by Australian Museum zoologist Tim Flannery , Indonesian zoologist Boeadi and Australian anthropologist Alexandra Szalay .

Globster

A globster , or blob , is an unidentified organic mass that washes up on the shoreline of an ocean or other body of water. The term was coined by Ivan T. Sanderson in 1962 to describe the Tasmanian carcass of 1960 , which was said to have "no visible eyes, no defined head, and no apparent bone structure". A globster is distinguished from a normal beached carcass by being hard to identify, at least by initial untrained observers, and by creating controversy as to its identity.

The Elwetritsch (also spelled Elwedritsch ) is a cryptid or mythical creature that supposedly inhabits the Palatinate of Germany . Elwetritsch   described as being a chicken -like creature with antlers . Elwetritsch also has scales instead of Feathers. The Elwetritsch had been quite forgotten in a while, till a Gentleman, named Espenschied "rediscovered" them. He began to organize "Hunting Parties" which were nothing more than playing a harmless prank on people.

Elmendorf Beast

The Elmendorf Beast was the name given to a creature blamed for several attacks on livestock in Elmendorf , Texas . Various opinions have been offered as to the identity of the creature, including that it was a Mexican Hairless Dog whose appearance had been altered by sickness and/or congenital ailments, and that it was a wolf – coyote cross.
